Hope's holiday food drive to feed many this Christmas

Hope Daniel loves volunteering and giving back to the community.  More importantly, she wants to make sure no one is without food over the holidays.  With the help of her support staff they organized, "Hope for the Holidays," a food drive to benefit Chattanooga Food Bank.

Hope, an individual served by Orange Grove Center's Adult Comprehensive Training and Georgia Services, garnered enough support from Orange Grove staff and the community through donations of more than 503 pounds of non-perishable food items, which will provide more than 419 meals during the holidays.

Because of her efforts, the 23-year-old was presented an award for her dedication and service to the Food Bank.  She plans to host a future food collection drive.

She says, "Helping people makes me happy."
